Brooks Pond Buggy Blanket for the Cooler Weather

October 15th, 2007

When I registered for gifts for my first child, I literally had no experience with baby products.  As a result, there were many essentials that I completely missed.  One such item was a cover for our infant carrier.  As the weather got cooler, it was absolutely essential that I buy one - I grabbed the first one I saw at the baby store, and the zipper broken in less than a month.  For any new or existing parents, I would highly recommend buying a high quality cover that will last through your child’s preschool years, and our favorite new infant carrier/stroller cover is the Buggy Blanket by Brooks Pond.

The Buggy Blanket is made of high quality products, including a Thinsulate lining and a removable layer of insulation.  The incredibly flexible design allows you to use the Buggy Blanket in many different ways.  Use it as is, and it’s a perfect stroller or infant seat blanket in the cold weather.  Remove the insulation, and it’s great for a chilly day.  The top layer easily zips off to create a changing pad or play mat once you reach your destination.  For the summer, you can just use the bottom layer as a stroller liner to keep your stroller clean.

The Buggy Blanket has a variety of harness openings so it works on many types of strollers, such as the BOB, the Phil & Ted, and Mountain Buggies.  In addition, the bottom can zip off or stay on, so it can keep your child’s feet warm, or can accommodate an older child’s desire to have their feet free.

You can purchase the Buggy Blanket at http://www.brookspond.com/.  While you are there, you can also check out their carrier covers!
