Planning Your Kid’s Party Made SimplerAs my kids are getting older, the subject of birthday parties is becoming more complicated. A new book, called Dear Peppers and Pollywogs - What Parents Want to Know About Planning Their Kids’ Parties seeks to answer every question that a mom or dad could have about planning their kids’ parties. The author, Lisa Kothari is a party planning expert and is president and founder of a web based company called Peppers and Pollywogs. The book, Dear Peppers and Pollywogs… is an excellent resource for any parent to have. In the book, Lisa answers all of the questions you may have, including questions about how much to spend on party presents, what to do if no one RSVPs, how to request “no gifts” in an invitation, how to throw a party in a home with tight space, and how to handle a child’s birthday that falls right around the holidays. The great part about Lisa’s book is that it really covers all age ranges from the first birthday all the way up through the teen years. So, it’s perfect for all parents! I literally wait until the last minute to decide what to do, because honestly, I don’t know what is appropriate or what will work.
