Convenient for Mom, Comfortable for Baby

April 1st, 2007

Leave it to a mom to solve a problem that all moms face - how to coordinate changing a baby on a dirty changing table, while trying to pull out the necessary supplies.  I have, on more than one occasion, tried to fish around in my diaper bag looking for a diaper and a wipes packet, while keeping one hand on my squirmy baby.  Emily, a mom of two, faced this problem and created Tushygear, which is a changing pad with an enclosed zippered pocket.

We have the peonies printed Tushygear, and the pattern is beautiful (actually more colorful than the photo shows).  The printed side is cotton, while the opposite side is the softest material I’ve ever felt.  It’s so much more comfortable for a baby than either a dirty changing table or a plastic, cold, changing pad.  The Tushygear is handmade and washable.

The pocket on the Tushygear is large enough to hold a few diapers and a wipes package, so you can just pull this right out of your diaper bag when in a public location.  Everything will be right at your reach.  You can also just carry the Tushygear alone or you can put it in a handbag for a quick trip.  I have used it in my purse, and have actually loaded it with two different diaper sizes for my two kids.  It would also be a great thing to leave in your car!

You can find Tushygear at http://www.tushygear.com/.
