This afternoon I received my prize for signing up for your newsletter from Little Daisies. Thank you again for the contest! I can’t even begin to tell you how impressed I am with Little Daisies. To give the company its due justice, I’ll have to give you a full description of the packaging as well as the product.
The package arrived Priority Mail within days of order. Inside the box I was pleasantly surprised to find a personal thank you note from Nina, the owner of Little Daisies, along with a clear bag tied with colorful ribbon. Inside the bag, along with another note from the company and several little edible treats, was an elegantly and delicately wrapped tissue paper package containing my custom-made hand-embroidered wild flower t-shirt bearing my daughter’s name amidst a row of flowers. Absolutely beautiful! The cotton is very soft and rich, and the embroidery is of highest quality. My husband immediately asked if the “backing would be scratchy,” and he was pleased that Nina had taken every care of all the details and lined the inside of the shirt.
The best part is that the sizes seem to run a bit large. My 1 year old daughter, who wears a size 2T in almost every brand name, probably won’t outgrow this t-shirt (18-24 month) until the end of next summer!
Not only do I love Little Daisy’s work, I would feel very comfortable ordering a gift directly from Little Daisies for a friend. One of my hesitations when ordering baby gifts is that the package usually arrives in such a sterile manner – unattractive packaging, invoice included, etc. I did not ask for gift wrapping for my Little Daisies order, yet the package arrived so beautifully I nearly felt guilty giving it to myself!
